Injured in Makra Centurion

I fell in the Makro store in Centurion due to a spill they have not cleaned up. Witnesses saw the incident and called for first aid person and the manager. First aid person was not available and an EMT assisted in his private capacity. He was also witness to the incident. Makro manager on duty reported incident and completed paperwork and insisted to get ambulance to take me to hospital. They gave paperwork of insurance cover to Ambulance staff and explained Makro is covering all costs. Unitas hospital explained they are not allowed to accept the insurance as they have experienced payment issues in the past. The ambulance then took me to another hospital. Same issue and my mother had to use her own medical aid with a co payment of R520 which she could not pay. We could not pay for the ankle support brace or medication. I have to go for a follow up and sonar on Thursday, but due to outstanding amount my mother cannot take me for this. The other issue is that driving home from hospital was more than 30kms and to go for follow up would be another 60kms for the round trip. This is not something we can afford. Makro now is drawing it out and avoiding the issue. Fortunately my ankle is not broken, but they need to determine if there is any injury to my ligaments and tendons.
