***********, rude, obnoxious staff
I shopped at Makro Amanzimtoti on Saturday. I allowed enough time for queues and till point issues as I planned on picking up my daughter from work by 4.40pm. I was in the queue around 3pm. The cashier is inexperienced and very slow. The items that were marked down and loaded on the system were not reflecting as such. What a mess. The lady who loads the clothing that are marked down is absolutely horrifyingly rude!!! She refused to scan and load certain things and told me that I'm not using the correct word because I asked her to scan it. She said I must go to the machine and scan it myself. When I explained what I wanted, then she rudely told me the word is "load". So why doesn't Makro train the customers to use the right word??? And after the mess at the cashier, I took my goods, checked at security and rushed to get to the car so that I could load it quickly while my husband was paying for his business goods. When he was exiting the security said some items were not on his till slip.. true because it was on mine but I had not space in my trolley so I kept it on his trolley. So the security called me back in and I produce the till slip. She is so *********** that she couldn't find the items though we pointed it to her. Then she leisurely perused the other items. I explained to her that I was rushing at it was already 4.30 and I had to pick up my daughter. Remember that its scary leaving a young women on the roadside alone in such a dangerous area, like Point Road as she works at UShaka and furthermore with a broken leg and especially during these times of ****, abduction and ******. The security lady ignored me. When I asked her name she **** and said it was Ulelwa but the next day when I went back to Makro, I saw her again and her name badge was Busi. Fortunately no harm came to my daughter, but Makro is very messed up with many *********** staff, among whom that lady at the counter is the worst possible speciman of a woman, so rude, angry and embarrasing. Many people were complaining to her but she wasn't bothered except that she had fallen down Makro stairs and hurt her leg so she was gossiping with a co worker about IOD and how to stay at home and claim etc. Also your credit ladies are very nosy and handled my phone, looking for details without my consent. She was interested only in getting me to open an account, which I was agreeing to do, but they way she invaded my space, followed me around, harrassed me etc was very bad. I am very angry with the treatment there.
