I bought a EXPENSIVE SLOW JUICER from Makro Amanzimtoti After 7 weeks the basket a very thin aluminium separated on the seam joint, I phoned Makro they said bring it back. I live 150km from Amanzimtoti!!! And I am a pensioner!! The Return "officer" on duty has NO KNOWLEDGE of kitchen appliances, after a absolute horror nightmare, I walked out and asked for the Manager. ALL MY FRIENDS WARNED ME.. N E V E R BUY FROM MAKRO BUY FROM GAME !!STORES, but Game in my are don't stock Kenwood. Anyway-This was when I realised why the ground floor staff is so rude, they look and learn...from their "manager" A person with NO peoples skills and ZERO knowledge of appliances, not even knowing a Blender and a Juicer is 2 totally different appliances!! and never heard that there is a difference between a SLOW Juicer AND a ordinary cheap Juicer. Good golly??!! And he is a manager!!! He, claiming to be a manager... rudely INSULTED ME (because I am a Afrikaans lady) certain denominations.... always fall back on the ATTACK TO DEFEND MODE to try and pretend they are intelligent. I told him it is not rocket science he don't refund me from his chequebook or Makro don't loose any money they send the part to the manufacturer to replace!!! The "manager" Telling me he CANNOT send the flimsy thin aluminium basket back to Kenwood because I AM TO INCOMPETANT to know how to use it. And will just damage the replaced one also. I asked him his name and tried to take a picture he held his name over his name tag BUT I ALREADY saw he is Mr Kaiden (Jaiden Kaiden) he turned away that I cannot take a picture... I told him I am going to report his bad manners on hellopeter and Kenwood SA and head office Makro. He is old enough to be my son and have NO RESPECT!! for the clients who is the reason HE have a job and bread on the table, I am 65 my kitchen appliances since 1981 are ALL KENWOOD products. At least I know the difference between a Blender and a Juicer.
