Incompetency and poor service

I have ordered and paid for a microwave online on the 25 of November and I received a confirmation email confirming order and a promise to deliver within 7 working days. Yesterday i called call Centre as i haven't received my order and i was told they are waiting for confirmation from nearest branch , and the lady from call Centre sent me an email to advise they are investigating they will come back to me. Today i got an email confirming cancellation and refund of amount i paid . No one called me to explain reason for cancellation . I planned the whole year to buy this microwave and for this to happen , if they would have said there is no stock same day i ordered I would have used the money then to buy same microwave on black Friday specials somewhere else.
