Inaccurate priciing

Pickedup 13mm spanner from shelf where shelf price was R44. At till item scanned at R79. Cashier sent assistant to check, he returned with the shelf ticket showing R44. Cashier asked assistance from her supervisor who spent some minutes on the phone. A manager arrived an said best he could offer was R55. I rejected this as not being the indicated price. Manager shrugged and I left with my previously paid for goods and left other unpaid for items, including the spanner behind.
