Hisense Ledn40d50p screen broke withing 14 days

I bought at a Hisense LCD TV on the 22nd of November, today is the 6th.I am still within the 14 days. Yesterday while I was watching the TV it slipped from the table, the LCD . screen broke,I was so heartbroken after spending R4200 buying this TV.Today morning at about 8.30 I went to Macro and Jonathan the salesman who sold me the TV said he would talk to his manager since the TV is withing 14 days, soon as I agreed hecended up not talking to his manager and tolsld me the TV should be booked in,that is what his manager would say.I ask if I have to pay more,he said no because its with 14 days. We went back to return department to try and get the TV booked in and the ladies there said that all the LCD repairs for Hisense customer must pay R1298 before the go for repairs otherwise they will just sit there. You can imagine my frustration. So Hisense screen get repaired alot that they have to now put that condition in. This rule only app**** to Hisense. I am a victim of this product. How am I suppose to spent more money for the product I just bought merely a week and sometime ago. I will escalate this matter to the ombudsman,I can't be sitting with a TV that doesn't work .
