highster drivers in store
<p>I feel scared every time i shop at amkro,</p> <p>the store always has their stuff driving the highsters around the store putting stock or taking out stock from high place, I think this is a danger to customers, i was in the store on Monday shopping for sfur and the highster driver kept moving towards me as if to make me move , i think there should not be doing it during shoppping hours, if a driver miss judges bring stock down and it falls people will be hurt, if that the case customers should be given protected gear to shop in the store,</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>

Please accept my sincere apologies regarding the recent experience that you encountered in our store. I would like to bring to your attention that it is not our intention to upset our valued customers but to rather excite and delight all of our customers with our awesome range, fantastic prices and world class customer service.
As you are aware that Makro is one of the largest wholesale and retail outlet in the country and we trade with most supermarkets and traders in our areas. Due to huge demand from our customers for stock, we however have to use the hysters during trading hours to replenish our stocks for you our valued customer.
Regarding the use of hysters on our shop floor during trading hours, we as management have ensured that all sales personal and hyster drivers or heavy machinery drivers have been advised that the health and safety regulations are to be adhered to at all times and should any individual found to be disregarding this instruction disciplinary measures will be instituted. During the use of the hysters or heavy machinery on the shop floor the area occupied by the machinery must be cordoned off by our staff, however in your case it seems that this practice was not adhered to. I will once again reiterate to our Divisional Operational Executive Managers and our Health and Safety Executive Manager in our store to ensure that all rules relating to the use of hysters on our sales floor are adhered to at all times.
