Highly disappointed

I'm writing here highly dissapointed with Makro telling me to wait for the whole month for my refund. I purchased a washing machine came faulty, returned it last week now I have to wait for month end for my refund. They are the ones delayed with collecting because the initial collection date was for the 30 August for only it to be collected on the 2 September and refund was initially supposed to be 13th September. Is that fair that I should wait for the whole month for my refund for something that I was sold faulty with my money.
