Hassle of receiving free promotional products when buying Bosch oven and hob combo.

I bought a Bosch Oven, Hob and Extractor set coming up to R6000 as part of the birthday specials. I was supposed to receive free cleaning items as part of the promotion but never received them.

I then contacted Makro through social media and politely asked them to rectify it. They said they escalated the matter but never got back to me. Eventually I went back to the Makro branch. It took more than an hour to sort out and an additional half hour standing in a queue to get done. All in all with my commute, about 2.5 hours of my day. Thanks for wasting my time. Atrocious. What was supposed to be a luxury purchase wound up being a pain. Makro sucked the joy out of this experience.
