Hardly used expensive electric blanket needs repairs.

I purchased an electric blanket in June 2021 costing R1099, but we only used it for a month or so, and have just started using it again with the recent cold weather. However the one control has just stopped working so I returned it to Makro, who have sent it for repairs. I see that they have a 4-6 week disclaimer for repairs which is worrying given the upcoming cold snap. Makro have always been good with replacements/repairs, so I hope that my problem will be resolved quickly.
