Halfway Day Sale seems like a marketing **** to get you in the store or online.

Extremely disappointed in the service and false marketing from Makro. After trying for hours I gave up… I tried since this morning to purchase a treadmill on the Halfway Day Special online. Every time I tried adding the item to the cart it said that the product was unavailable, but it showed that Strubensvalley and Riverdale still had stock. It seems that the Halfway Day special was just a way of attracting customers online or to the store. When customers want what they come for, then it is suddenly unavailable in the hope that they will purchase something else at a lower discount. I have screenshots showing that the treadmill was available, but when you add to cart it suddenly says unavailable. When you add another treadmill that is not on sale, it mysteriously works. I even tried the ***but got cut off every time. What a waste of my time. I suppose I should look for another store like GAME or Takealot. This is not the first time I have an issue with “Sale” items that are suddenly not available first thing in the morning on the first day of the sale. Makes one wonder…
