Grossly Frustrated!!!

I visited Makro Bloemfontein on Saturday the 30th of May 2020 for the very first time. I wanted to purchase for a substantial amount of money by using my RCS Credit Card. Only to be told at tillpoint that they need to get authorisation from RCS, as a code is needed to be punched in the till. By now I have been in the store over 3 hours and the waiting game started. After another 30 minutes I was told that they can't get hold of RCS and had to come back the next morning. On Sunday the 31st of May 2020 I arrived at Makro Bloemfontein at 08h55, just before the store opened. All goods had to be re-scanned and again the waiting game started and after 30 minutes the manager eventually got hold of RCS. I had to sign a copy of my ID 3 times and also spoke to the RCS consultant over the phone who asked me security questions which I answered correctly. I then handed the phone to the In-store RCS consultant who spoke further to her colleague. She was more concerned about the airconditioner blowing her than assisting. Another 20 minutes transpired only to be told that my account has been blocked as they thought this is a ********** transaction. I had on me my ID card, my Makro card as well as my Makro RCS Credit card as proof that I am indeed the correct client. Makro Bloemfontein also swiped my card and printed out a statement stating and proving that I indeed had enough credit to purchase the goods. Nothing was done to solve this and after another 30 minutes I no longer could stand it and I walked out of the store. I then in my personal capacity phoned the customer service number on back of card and was told by the RCS consultant to please email a copy of my ID signed 3 times. I did this with no avail. I then phoned several times to try and speak to a consultant with no avail. The phone just rings on end, no one answering. It is not only pathetic but incompetency at the highest level. Both Makro and RCS are affiliated to provide a service, yet none of these giants are even interested to serve customers who spends millions of rands with them. What must one do to get them to assist. They clearly don't care and are only interested in their own pocket. Shame on both Makro and RCS. How can you call yourself professionals when you have no idea or any clue. Having members of staff not properly trained. How are you going to solve this and how are going to rectify my whole weekend wasted in time and fuel travelling up and down?
