Good service

I bought a Trojan Pegasus 400 treadmill from Makro Alberton on Friday at about 11h00. Item was to be delivered to my house. The same afternoon got a call to say that the delivery was on the way. Ten minutes later the truck stopped in front of my gate. That evening we decided to assemble the treadmill. After a long battle in not too ideal light we abandoned the effort until daylight. To our dismay we found that the threads and the bolts could not line up due to bad workmanship. I spoke to Kalicius at Makro and he referred me to his manager(name I can not remember). Being 5 minutes away from Makro, I arranged with her(manager) to pick Kalicius up at Makro to assess the problem. Within seconds from arriving at my house, he confirmed that it was indeed a factory fault and undertook to solve the problem. This morning(Sunday) They delivered a new treadmill. Soon afterwards I got a courtesy call to confirm that the product had been swapped and that I was satisfied. Real good service for a change from Makro thanks to Kalicius, his manager and also the salesperson Imogan Whitaker, who this time had all the info about the equipment at her fingertips. (pardon if I spelt a name wrong)
