Good bye MAKRO - ****TY ONLINE SERVICE

I ordered a "Just simplified aluminum safety gate on 13 December 2025.

Delivery was supposed to take place on Saturday 20 December. after following up with Miche, who did not really want to assist me, in fact she could not even track the order, she eventually gave me the name of Charlotte, from marketplace.

Miche claimed that the item comes from a supplier in Johannesburg and it is outsourced to marketplace. No so ownership of the complaint.

As a Customer, I deal with Makro, not your own suppliers directly.

By Sunday 21 December 2025, I got a call from Lee, another call centre agent, saying it will be escalated.

Today, Tuesday 23 December 2025, I received a message stating that the order cannot be fulfilled and I'll receive a refund in 3 to 5 working days.

No phone call, no reason why. This is not acceptable, ****ty service all round.
