Ghosted By Makro After Ordering A R10k couch
Bought a couch here a month ago. Delivery was scheduled for 21 August. Supplier texts me saying Makro has cancelled my order because the courier company didn’t collect. Asks me to call Makro to confirm that I do still want the couch so they can send it to me because now they can’t because Makro has cancelled on them. I call Makro, they seem clueless. Now I’m stuck in this place where the supplier can’t send me the couch because Makro cancelled on them, but when I call Makro they say they will escalate the matter. It’s so frustrating. I’ve spent a whole month patiently waiting for this couch, dam*it.

23 Aug 2025, 14:18When we call, the customer support people get our order numbers and then drop the phone on us. 3 times now. Still no communication from them. We can’t even initiate a refund because they drop our calls.
