Frustrated - Makro Online Purchase

I purchased a juicer online in June 2024 and returned it because it was faulty. According to Makro, they liaised with the 3rd party supplier whose feedback was that the juicer is not faulty despite the fact that even they could not get it to operate. Makro returned the juicer to me, and advised that i counter the claims of the 3rd party supplier, which i did. I have made over 15 follow-ups on this, and was told that my case would be referred to the refunds department for assistance. This back and forth has been going on from June, and i am getting ZERO assistance from Makro.

Good day. A reply was sent however it is not objective because it was written by the seller. I still ask what kind of juicer stops working because it couldn't juice a celery stick? I followed up with Makro on this for many months and I still don't have a response. There was no foreign object found in the juicer. It simply didn't work as it was supposed to because the quality was poor. At what point did Makro conduct it's own assessments of this issue because the report o keep being referred to was written by the seller. I have been disputing it from June. At some point Makro informed me that they were waiting for the seller's response to my dispute. It seems the response never came, and following up for months then Makro's position is to revert to the seller's initial response. Please can I get a refund. I would also appreciated it of this juicer would be collected.

Hello Makro,

My question is what recourse is there for me from Makro. A supplier sold me a juicer that didn't work. It could not juice a piece of celery and it stopped working. Where is your impartiality in all of this because your responses suggest that it's the supplier's decision with no care from Makro about the quality of the item I purchased from you. How do you hold suppliers accountable?

Kind regards
LM

Furthermore, what about the warranty because at the very least the supplier and/or Makro should subject the item to repairs.
