Formula Order delay!!! My child is hungry!!!
I placed an order of Nan Formula for my child on the 24th of May 2026, expected delivery date was said to be 30 May 2026 (order number: OD***) Today is the 1st of June, the formula has not been delivered, I called in the morning and was told it might be delivered today the 1st of June, I call again now at 12 to ask about the ETA, now I am told the order will be delivered on Wednesday 3rd June 2026. Makro did not communicate with me these delays until I asked, I am also not told why the formula was not delivered on Saturday 30th of May as I was told when I placed the order. The order is worth R1399, obviously now I do not have any money to run to the shops to buy this formula while I wait on Makro. What is the child supposed to eat while I wait for so many days?, this is not the first time Makro delays my order and not even communicate. As of today my child has no milk and I cannot afford to go buy at the shop while we wait, I need the milk delivered ASAP! I am a regular customer, not sure why this is happening to me.

I sent this as an email as well. But on this platform I usually get answers quicker.
My order finally arrived yesterday and would like your assistance (order OD***)
This order was 3.6KG x 2 which is equal to 1.8KG x 4.
Order was delivered yesterday, 3 days later from the date it was supposed to be delivered. Only 3.6 x 1 was delivered (2 x 1.8 containers of formula). We opened one container as my son did not have milk for a few days because of the delay.
Since I was expecting 4 containers of 1.8 KG, this morning I called to find out if the other 2 will be delivered and when, I spoke to Patience, who told me that there is no other 2x 1.8 that will be delivered. The only option I have is to file a return.
My questions are as follows:
1. One container of milk is already open, Patience did tell me that if one is open I will not get a refund, can I go buy another 1.8 container from the shop to replace the open one?, then return?
2. If the above is no, what are my other options?, can you organise for the other 2 containers to be delivered? And fulfil the order as it was advertised?
3. If all above is no, what are my other options?, I payed R1399. The order was 3.6KG x2, I received 1.8KG x2. Even at the shop 1.8KG is not R799.5

Thanks for clarifying. The two containers of formula came sealed. The nanny already opened one. This means refund route will not work.
I need to know what will happen now to the other two containers that were not delivered, when can you deliver or what are my other options?
