Faulty Ryobi grass cutter from Makro

Hi on 7 September 16 I purchased a Ryobi 43CC Brushcutter from Makro. The first time I used it it was fine however the second time I used it it suddenly shut down. I could not get it to start. So I took it to Makro on 28 December 16 for repairs. So I receive a call from a Makro staff member who tells me that the quote to fix spark plugs is R140. Im totally dissatisfied with the service and product I received from Makro it was barely 3 months. I only used it twice. Please replace the product or refund me totally so I can purchase it elsewhere.

Thank you for raising your concern with us,

Below are the findings made by the Technician that assess your Ryobi grass cutter:

You put far too much oil in the fuel. This creates carbon on the spark plug, which builds up after a short period of usage.
This is why the unit worked the first time you used it, then failed the second time as the carbon had built up on the spark plug.
The technician suggest you purchase a fuel mixing bottle to avoid this situation accruing again.
The above finding is not a manufactural faulty, not following the instructions laid out by the manufacture.
Unfortunately will have to pay for the spark plug.

HiMmule Moropa, I refuse to accept,it is clear to me that you dont know the contents of the products you sell. The grass cutter comes with a mixing bottle which is clearly marked and I followed the instructions as per manual please rectify and the bottlesays 0ml to 500ml (gasoline) and 500ml to 600ml Oil clearly marked. Im dissatisfied with this product and dont like being accused of putting extra oil which I did not do. Please forward your email so I can send you proof of the mixing bottle
