Faulty Product

After visiting the store, on the advice of a salesperson, I bought an office chair (2 May) for my mother and myself, and after assembly it immediately made me wary of the back support it offered, although comfortable. Only a month and a half later, the left arm bracket gave way causing the chair to break. After further research, on Makro's website, a review (which has since been removed) from another customer highlighted the same experience, with dangerous side affects, and I immediately returned the product. After referring them to various Internet sources evidencing this fault, they refused to replace the product, and simply repaired the broken arm bracket, stating that issue occurred due to poor assembly.

Earlier today, the fixed product has yet again broke in a similar fashion, this time resulting in me falling to the ground like the other customer, and almost resulting in a back injury This could have so easily been worse. With six months of use, this product has always felt flimsy and worried me, and I'm sure, Makro's service would result in yet another repair, perhaps not. I will not be going through this again, as even a re-fixed product I fear could be a danger!
