Faulty product

I bought a rechargeable battery and it dies within a week after I had only used it once. Now I made a query. Query logged was sent an email that they will come collect the products. Minutes later they say they can't because the product doesn't have warranty. I reply to the email asking why now? What's the way forward, I didn't receive a respond. Next thing I have the company the same day collecting the product. That was on Thursday. I haven't heard anything.

I call on Friday for follow up n to understand exactly what is happening. They they will provide me with feedback. Since then non has happens. Please advise as am dissatisfied and not pleased with the service am receiving. ref no: ***.
