FAULTY Hisense Dishwasher bought at MAKRO

I bought a HISENSE dishwasher at Makro Alberton, no more than 2 years and took our extended warrantee (5years) After almost one year, the racks rusted so much that the plastic fell off and blocked the filter. Because of this, the salt won't even dissolve and my dishes is still dirty and full of residue even after putting them in, fully rinsed. Took the machine to Makro but was told to take it home as a technician needs to see it at my home (SERIOUSLY??) Makro called me after a few days and told me that because I mentioned rust, they will not send anyone out and the warrantee is not applicable.

This is an easy way to get out of a warrantee - no one came to see the machine and because of the bad quality product, my machine is faulty. Now it's my problem??? UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!
