False Pretence - Sinotec UHD TV
<p>Good Day Marko,</p> <p> </p> <p>I have purchased an Sinocted 55" UHD TV over Black Friday at the Makro in Silver Lakes. I have asked specfically for a UHD TV and I said to the sales person I got R8000. He advised me to look also at the Sinotec as the clarity on the TV was very good. I ended up buying the Sinotec for R6999.</p> <p> </p> <p>I have discovered that the HDMI interface ports is on version 1.3 and that version is old and only to be used on HD TVs which means if I buy a UHD / 4K DVD Player it will not display UHD Quality video as the minimum for UHD / 4K is HDMI interface version 1.4</p> <p> </p> <p>I am extermely unhappy as I could have gone for the HISENSE which was only a R1000 in difference.</p> <p> </p> <p>I will never buy from Makro as they could adviced from the sales end. What can I do now its a month later???</p> <p> </p> <p>Please advise...</p>

Thanks for coming back and giving back my money.
I'm sad to hear that Makro will continue selling this UHD TV as other people from the public does not know this problem I had to face with the TV and the price Makro sells it at R8999 I don't think its worth it.
