False advertising *****s, then state "NO STOCK"

On Saturday night i came across what appeared to be a massive sale. I made my purchases and on Sunday, my orders were being cancelled, reason being "OUT OF STOCK," I also received an apologetic email stating that the system was incorrect. So, is it an error, or no stock? If its an error, how are we, as consumers expected to know if its a sale or an error? MAKRO should be boycotted as they do not honour their "specials"!!! Stay away from Makro. They are ****s.
