False advertising done on Black Friday specials
Makro has been sending weekly Black Friday specials where they advertise certain specials for the week. There were some that were online only in the one in question was for Week two was advertised. I received an email on 12th November where the specials was offered from 8-14 November. On 14th November I want to place an order for 2 x Eaton corner desk which was advertised R1899 but the price online was R2499. I immediately phoned customer care regarding the issue and they told me to send an email as no one at the time could assist. I have communicating with customer care but I am saddened wth the last response I received today...... "Please note that we we have been i contact with the team and we have been advised that the promotion ended the day an email was sent and a client was supposed to place an order before." Surely Makro sould honour the advertised price?
