False Advertising by Makro

Makro is advertising a campaign from the 19th June – 2nd July 2018 where Carlsberg Premium Lager 500ml cans are on sale at R249 per case with R80 Makro rewards for a purchase of 4 cases.

This afternoon at 4pm I called on their Springfield branch and was told that they had no stock. How pathetic is that for such a top retailer!!! I then went online and got the same message!!!

Is this perhaps their sly way of trying to lure customers to their stores and hope that they will buy something else with a higher profit margin????

Shame on you Makro!!!

Social media can do a lot of good and harm to a business - mmmm which way am I going to go now after this experience??

This is the second time I have been caught by Makro advertising these pathetic specials on Carlsberg Premium Lager and not having stock.

Never a third time. Out of principle I am now prepared to pay a higher price at another retailer.
