FALSE ADVERTISING and PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE

Its now been almost two week since I lodged the following complaint with Makro SA stores on Facebook. The promised to resolve the matter but havent as yet.

COMPLAINT SENT TO MAKRO: "Hey guys, so just got back from the Makro store in Ottery. Firstly none of the staff are even aware that there is a "BIG CLEARANCE SALE" even going on!!!!!!! I spoke to the lady at the front desk and told her I had seen it advertised on the website and asked if she could please go on to the website and check, to which she promptly rep**** "No". Well thats just fantastic. After numerous calls to managers and head office and god knows who else, I was escorted by a lovely gentleman by the name of Enrico (who seems to be the only person in the store who actually knows what is going on). I asked to see the demo models that were reduced AS ADVERTISED ON YOUR WEBSITE AND ON THE COVER PHOTO OF YOUR FACEBOOK PAGE. to which I was told there arent any demo models for sale and it is just the normal specials that the store is running on appliances. The clearance stock is actually in a tent outside the shop and consists of baking dishes, towels, toys etc. I dont know about you but I have personally never needed a demo model of a baking dish or a towel. This is absolutely the worst form of false advertising just to get feet through the door!!! Why do you not just tell people that the special does not include appliances? its actually quite pathetic"
