False Advertising !

Good day,

I was sent an emailer regarding your birthday specials etc. On the first page of the brochure was a 75" TV was that was on sale, SAMSUNG 75" SMART UHD LED FOR R 22999.

I immediately clicked on the image to purchase online, but the could not find the product that was advertised. I called the Online Support number probably around 10h00 and spoke to Alec, he too could find the product from the brochure in the online store. He told he will look into and let me know.

After 14h00 I get a call back from Alec to advise me that the product was sold out, something which I cannot understand as soon I as I got the brochure I tried to purchase it. Whilst I was on the phone with support, he could not also not find it so I find it hard to believe that this was sold out, it really makes me believe me that this was false advertising from Makro that was intended for customers to buy the next best thing...which I will not.

I would like to understand what happened as I do not see the point in being a customer where I am misled.
