Extremely Disappointed at Makro– Order Cancelled After Payment Was Accepted

I recently ordered a Hisense 508L Side-by-Side Fridge from Makro Online while it was on special. The order was processed, payment went through, and I received confirmation — only to be told later that the order was cancelled and that I would be refunded.

This is completely unacceptable. According to the Consumer Protection Act, if a product is advertised and purchased at the displayed price, the seller must honour the transaction. I did not make a mistake — Makro did — and now they want to refund me instead of delivering the product I paid for.

I didn’t ask for a refund. I want the fridge I saw and paid for. This feels like false advertising and a serious failure in customer service and accountability. Very disappointed in Makro’s handling of this situation.
