Extended warranty for a Whirpool Dishwasher as RECOMMENDED by Makro is basically worthless

<p>We purchased our Whirpool Dishwasher from Makro and took out an extended warranty as RECOMMENDED by Makro.</p> <p><br />When our washing machine broke on 11 June we contacted Makro who recorded it and said they would send someone out within 72 hours.</p> <p><br />On 15 June no-one had called or arrived. We phoned Makro again who said they would follow up. They then arrived on Friday 17 June - 5 days later.</p> <p><br />When they arrived they inspected the machine and said they needed to order parts and would come back and collect the machine on Monday 20th.</p> <p><br />No-one pitched on the 20th. That week we followed up twice and no-one got back to us.</p> <p><br />They eventually collected it on the morning of the 27th - 2 weeks after we called them.</p> <p><br />Since then it has been with TM Electonics for 13 working days. In the first week we called and they had no record of the machine and no status update. We called on Monday 11 July and spoke the the manager (a lady) who was rude to us and promised she would phone us back. We have not heard back from them to date.</p> <p><br />So the extended warranty for a Whirpool Dishwasher as RECOMMENDED by Makro is basically worthless. We have been waiting 23 working days under this warranty and have had no feedback from Makro or TM Electornics and no washing machine.</p> <p> </p>
