Empty, unreliable offers

I bought a cellphone on Friday 24th that was offered with a R500 voucher to use in store. I had to download it on Makro App which I did. Got the number which was supposed to be a voucher number. I was told an email or some form of communication will be forwarded to confirm that. Nothing yet. I went to the shop again to get verification as on a app is still shows nothing. So to get a sale from me all these were done without hiccups but honouring their promise I must drive up and down. Spending more than what the voucher amounts to. Using my petrol for something that they promised when I buy. If this is the way to get people to buy it's totally wrong. That's tricking people to buy your products. Today when I go back I get told to wait for IT to load it while my app is not working again since it got blocked trying to sort that out. I wonder how many of us fell for this sales tricks.
