Empty promises

Good Day,

It has now been 7 days since my wife lodged a complaint about the stove we purchased which was delivered with shattered glass. Ironically, your response was:

"We take all our customer requests seriously and assure you that this matter will be our priority."

Was that a practical joke you play on your customers? Twice you've rep**** that someone will come back to us and here we are .. waiting a week later. We've escalated your courier teams, The Courier Guy and The Parcel Ninja as their involvement has had me seriously questioning your quality standards around vendor management.

We moved into a new house and to date don't have a stove to prepare food on, brilliant hey .. and the absolute lack of empathy from Makro is astounding, no "Let us send you a loan unit while we resolve this matter", no "Let's work together to resolve this soonest", nothing.

I want a manager in the relevant department to contact me on my cell. If you have any form of a client centric commitment, I'll hear from you, not in a post reply, but on my cell before CoB today.

And now I wait .......

Take this as constructive advice. When you respond to customers, try to personalize it so that your customers don't all just receive a standard template. I await a call from your management team.

Close of Business came and went and yet no call from any Manager in any department. Consider me ongoingly disappointed.

When is someone planning to call me? We still don't even have an inclination on when our stove will be replaced. Who do I need to call to get traction in this matter?

5 days after my last post and no reply, no email, no attempt at a telephone call. Is the Makro promise now to see how irate you can get your clients before you take action? What are the quality standards like in your organization if you don't call your clients? Do you need more training? Is the management level so disconnected with the business that calling clients is beneath them? I am so utterly disappointed.

I continue to wait.
