Dont Trust Makro to keep their promises.

I purchased an item on Malro Online on 11 September 2025, with a promised delivery on 19 September 2025. I tracked my order on 19 September 2025 to make arrangement to accept the delivery, and noticed that, according to the tracking, my order has not yet been placed. I phone the Makro caal centre and the call centre agent informed me that all are in order and that I will receive my delivery on 20 September 2025. No delivery arrived on 20 September 2025. I phoned the Makro Call Centre on 22 September 2025 and was told that the order has been placed, but has not yet been allocated for deliver? I enquired when this would happen and was told that the Call Centre will contact the supplier to find out when they will arrange delivery with the Courier. Feedback was promised within 48 hours per email. The outcome thus is that I will only be informed, when a delivery of an order which was promised for 19 September 2025, will be sent to a courtier for delivery, on 24 September 2025. Moreover, when I call the Call Centre, and requested to speak to a person who can assist me better than the call centre agentwho just keeps repeating her phrases, the call was terminated. Makro is very quick to make promises to close a sale, but does not deliver on their promises and offers to support in resolving issues. Will never order from Makro again.
