DON'T TRUST MAKRO FOR REFUND

I ordered an I-phone online through Makro and received it on 26-08-2023. I decided that the specs were inadequate and logged a return on 28-08-2023. The phone was collected on 01-09-2023. Ref *** was given on 15-09-2023 and I was told that a refund was created. On 02-10-2023 I was told that Makro Strubensvalley did not book the item back to stock and therefore a refund cannot be done. Every call centre agent has ESCALATED the matter and nothing happens. This is a lot of money and I want it back!!! I called Makro Strubensvalley a few times, placed on hold for 20 minutes and then cut off.
