Don't support Makro MeadowDale Germiston i.

After buying R400 gaming headset on 12 December 2020 for my son to use for online studies, we found the item to be faulty. We returned to Makro MeadowDale the next day to return the item. They helped us with a replacement item. Five months later the same brand of headset packed up. This time we were told by Makro staff that the item will be send back to the supplier for review. This might take up to three months and we should wait for an sms to be send to us. I informed the Credit staff that the headset is needed for my son's online studies and that we can not wait for three months for the item to be repaired or replaced. They said that it is Makro protocol and that they can not refund or replace the item. After filling in the return to supplier documentation with the clear indication on the original invoice printed by the store stating that the mouth piece of the unit was faulty I was given a printed document as proof of the complaints. When I reach my house I read the document given to me by the Makro returns staff I was dumb founded to see that it stated that the mouth piece was working. This added fuel to my anger regarding the whole Makro shopping experience. I had to return to the shop once again to correct the problem. Once there I had to wait outside the returns office for 40 minutes due to only two customers or should I say victims being allowed in the area for returns at one time due to the covird protocol. The staff member that help me the first time was unapologetic once the mistake was pointed out to him. I feel that once you have spend your money at Makro you are left to sit with the problem regarding faulty stock sold to you. This is very wrong and Mackro should be more open to customers problem as I have to now spend R400 or more to make sure my son can continue with his online studies. My feeling is that this big corporate company is just chasing sales and could not worry about you after the sale is completed. I will not support Makro MeadowDale Germiston again .....EVER. That is fore sure. Two faulty items........ and now endless problems.
