Don't shop Makro online

Despite numerous attempts to follow instructions for processing an online return, it has proven to be impossible. One item cannot be processed via the app and another has been "processing your return" for over a week. WhatsApp queries result in an instruction to use the app, the app is buggy and had no way to follow-up, emails are ignored. Considering how many of the online products aren't actually fulfilled by Makro, you're better off contacting the distributors directly, and if you have to buy from Makro then shop instore because no matter how bad that might be, it cannot be worse that shopping at Makro online.
