Don’t purchase an extended warranty
Pathetic excuses from your team.
I purchased an extended warranty through Makro for my Samsung washing machine which now needs repair.
Makro can’t find the parts to fix the machine so they gave me a gift voucher to purchase another.
Of course the voucher doesn’t even cover the cost of a new machine on their website and they’ve refused to increase it so that I can actually buy it. Nor will they refund me for the pointless extended warranty.
I now have to spend my money finding a third-party who can fix the machine.
I won’t even begin talking about the god damn 10 step process to go through to get someone to take a look at the machine.
Don’t bother buying an extended warranty. It’s useless with this company.

01 Dec 2021, 18:13Nothing has changed - don’t purchase the extended warranty.
Even after settling for the voucher and agreeing with the collection agency on them fetching the old unit on a certain date, you get Juanita Peters threatening to cancel the voucher because I can’t be home in two days to give them the old machine.
If only I could screenshot the conversation to upload here, I would. I sent them four emails and only one person on the email decided to respond - after 14 days.
But, once they mess up on their side regarding collection dates, I come back to a phone with four missed calls from Juanita and a message threatening to cancel the voucher if “they cannot collect by the end of the week”.
Don’t both replying saying you’ll assist.
Clearly, no one from Makro knows how to communicate.
