Does not honour warranty repairs. Arrogant, unhelpful managers

I attempted to return a faulty computer mouse on 11th January. The staff member who first assisted claimed not to be able to see the issue, even though I demonstrated it to him. I asked to speak to a manager. The manager, in turn, left me waiting for almost 30 minutes. Upon his eventual arrival, he didn't bother to apologise for the wait - from his hostile demeanour, it was clear he wasn't interested in helping, anyway. This manager also claimed not to see the issue. I asked to speak to his manager, who was the floor/store manager (I forget which) and was the most unfriendly of all. In the end, I decided I'd just buy another mouse (and not at Makro). I'm not sure what qualifies these gentlemen to evaluate the mouse problem anyway (I'm an IT professional and I know how a mouse works). At the very least, they should have accepted the item for warranty repair and had it tested. But the culture of unprofessionalism and arrogance seems to pervade from bottom to top. Every employee's attitude was: "Yes? What?" rather than "how may I assist you". I will never buy electronic devices from Makro again.

Someone from Makro Woodmead called me last Friday (19/01/2024) asking for more details regarding this complaint. He told me he'd call me back, but he has not done so. Could you please follow up with the store once again? Alternatively, may I take this product to a different (hopefully more customer-oriented) Makro store for repair or replacement?
