Disgusted!!!

I would really like to know how is it that Makro offers a number of 'specials' or 'promotions' however they do not have stock???!!! We are looking for a new washing machine and saw (on Saturday 15 Aug 2020) that they had an unbelievable 'promotion', a Defy 13kg top loader (DTL149) for R4000. We phoned our local Makro (Vaal) only to be told that they did not have any stock and that they ??may?? get by the following weekend. True or false, I have yet to receive a call regarding the same. Looking through their ads today, I saw a Samsung 13kg machine on (yes you guessed it) 'promotion' for R5200, and yes, there is no stock - actually hardly any of the Makro store have stock. My question is this - how do you advertise something that you do not have??? This is purely underhanded and low!!! My only hope is that our local store will hold up to their promise and supply us with a Defy at the promotional price as promised when we phoned. Will they???!!!
