Disgruntled customer

I bought a Phillips Viva Food Processor from Makro on Saturday for R1599. When I tried to use it , it was very noisy and my niece tried to return it . Upon getting there they refused to take it claiming there was a part missing . I bet the part missing was not one making the machine not to operate properly . Why would I take one part out of all the parts . They did not even check what the problem was with the machine . For all I know it was not even included from the factory and I doubt it will cause that noise. We did not even use the part. The guy at returns did not even take us seriously. The machine is still under warranty too.
