Disappointing service from Makro Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha)

I purchased a chest freezer from Makro Port Elizabeth and paid for delivery. The appliance was delivered and on opening found to be damaged. I logged a call with customer care and four days later am still waiting for any form of feedback regarding how this matter will be resolved. Today 15 June 2021 I have made 3 calls to the customer care number of which 2 was dropped during conversation. Customer care is unable to provide me with a contact person name or number for Makro Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha). Having opened their new premises on 26 May 2021, this store is still without a working telephone according to customer care, so there is no way for me to make contact with them other than getting in my car and driving there. I am very disappointed in the lack of service that I am receiving from Makro.

Reviewer Update
Today is 22 June 2021. I have to date not been contacted by Makro Port Elizabeth. On Friday 18 June 2021 I made 12 phone calls to Makro PE to try and find out when the faulty unit would be collected. Their telephone lines were so bad that I could not hear what anyone was saying. I eventually ended up having to drive to the store where I was assisted by a very friendly and helpful Mr Freek Maree. The faulty unit was collected late on Friday afternoon. Now I am still waiting to be refunded. I have tried reaching the PE store telephonically twice this morning, with no response. Surely this is not the type of customer service a person should receive from big retailer like Makro.
