Disappointing Customer service at Makro (Cape Gate)

I took in my TV on the 31st of December 2018. I understand that their service providers only opened around the 7th. They established that the CPU power module was faulty. My problem is the lack of communication and customer service they (Makro) pride themselves on. In all this time I received 1 phonecall with above update. Then nothing, made numerous calls at my expense with promises to call me back and then nothing. Nobody seems to follow up and to me it seems that there is a buddy system going on where the service provider has no obligation and or deadlines, everything goes at their place and nobody is accountable. The customer (I), must suffer in the meantime while being kept in the dark. This is the worst service I have ever gotten! Communication, communication! Very disappointed!

Thank you for calling and actually getting back to me afterwards. Really thought it was going to be as per usual: will call back and then nothing. Actually Feeling more frustrated now, even after your call back I am just in the dark as before. How long does it take for a part to get delivered? Are they still making it? Are you importing it from overseas? Thank you for the information I already know, looking forward to your follow-up (if).

Now really ****ed off! Got a call from Makro's customer services on the 31st of Jan that the tv has been fixed and that someone from the Cape Gate store was going to call me that day or the day after for collection. It is now Saturday, 1 week later and still no call. Called them as per usual only to find out that the tv was never collected at the the place that fixed it. What makes me boil is the fact that Makro is in Brackenfell and the repairs place in Parow. How in the .... Does it take more than a week to collect something that is basically across the road?
