On 5 Sept 2014 I bought a Kenwood Steam Iron. Now just over 6 months later it has malfunctioned overheated burned my shirt made a funny noise and stopped working. In terms of the Makro policy this iron now has to go to the manufacturer for assessment. This can take up to 3 weeks. So what to do I need an iron now, So I went to another national dealer who assured me that if the new iron I bought fails within warranty they will exchange it not send it away for a lengthy period at my inconvenience. I will definitely think long and hard before buying any appliance again from Makro. The repair note number is *** dated 24 April 2015. I await the assessment report but would like my money back and not a repaired iron.
