Disappointed with Makro's Return Handling

Disappointed with Makro’s Handling of Return – Trimtech Electric Trimmer

I recently returned a Trimtech Electric Trimmer to Makro, explaining that the machine is too short and causes significant back strain during use. I requested to return or exchange it for a longer model that would be more suitable.

However, the store manager refused, stating that the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) protects them because the item had been used. I explained that there was no way to know the trimmer would cause physical discomfort without first using it.

Despite my reasonable explanation, I was dismissed after a few minutes, and now I’m left with a product I cannot physically use.

This experience has been disappointing and does not reflect the level of customer care I expected from Makro.
