Disappointed on Makro Amanzimtoti selling reworked item as new after that they prolong the return and refund process.

I purchased this Defy 157 L fridge as a new unit. After the promised delivery date was missed and unpacking it, I noticed what appears to be exposed/reworked insulation and refrigeration tubing at the rear has tape patch. The unit seems like it has previously been repaired or opened. I haven't plugged it yet because of a fire hazard, burn marks with melted insulation. I logged a return and requested a matter to be attended urgently instead they stretched dates to collect the item on 21st of August and refund me on the 4th next month. What kind of inspection would be done from now till 4 Sep. Why sell reworked item as brand new in the first place if you won't take customer's complains seriously and observe the state of urgency the item ordered is needed.
