Disappointed by Makro

On Monday, 23/08,i received an sms at around 11:30am that my order was ready for collection. The item I ordered was a TV that I wanted really bad, so bad that I was willing to drive from Springs to Crown Mines, that's a 80km return trip.

At around 5pm I arrived at Makro Crown Mines to pick up my TV. After waiting for 10 minutes, I was told that my order was not available. On this day I was told some story about TVs not working or some nonsense like that. Why was a customer made to drive so far for an order that was not ready, why send the collection sms?? And why not be decent enough to call the client during the day and inform them that their order will not be available as promised, please don't come.

I wasted almost 3 hours of my time and petrol driving for nothing!

On Monday I was told delivery will be arranged for my TV. Yesterday, Tuesday 24/08, I got a call from Makro Crown Mines saying that the TV I wanted was found in Hermiston and delivery might happen today, Wednesday 25/08. What makes me angry is that an order that was said to be ready on Monday, doesn't seem to being expedited. The massive inconvenience I have suffered as a customer, who has paid already, doesn't seem to ignite a need for urgency. I feel, after the huge inconvenience I've been put through, a TV set should have been arranged and delivered by Tuesday already.

I'm very disappointed in Makro, this is completely unprofessional. #WIN
