What could have easily been avoided and handled in-store, was directed to Hello Peter.<br> <br> A cashier, Amukelani Hlengani, with the cashier number (as on the till-slip): 109, was of the viewpoint that she would rather instruct the customer instead of providing a service.<br> <br> An item did not have a barcode, and so Hlengani told the customer to collect the price. I was completely stumped at Hlengani and asked her why she does not ask her colleague to fetch the price - as it is a *Makro* item, and *Makro* is responsible to ensure their items have barcodes.<br> <br> When I asked Hlengani for a customer-feedback form to report of her attitude, she said there was none and then called her supervisor (whose name I did not take). Hlengani's supervisor, upon asking for a customer-feedback form told me that I should lodge the complaint on Hello Peter (of which here it now appears).<br> <br> Trainee/floor manager, Peter Ntsele arrived when asked for the next person in charge. Ntsele called Phumla Ben [...]<br> How is it that Makro refer their customers to Hello Peter in order to resolve customer complaints? More so, why does Makro hire people who work at the front-desk, yet lack understanding of customer service
