Delivery issues

I have purchased a fridge from Makro and the driver met with an accident i called to reschedule delivery. I work out of town and was reassured by Makro they will deliver today. I have made myself availible at this address today, i called the store the item is not picked up they told me i need to call the courier company myself. The courier guy tells me due to his accident he is not availible to deliver. This is unacceptable and the worst service ever. Why does Makro not have enough delivery people to deliver items.
