Delayed Delivery

Makro why can't you inform clients before they make a purchase that their order might be delayed? It seems disingenuous that your websites still states that delivery will take place within 2-5 days but judging by the other complaints on here there seems to be a hefty backlog as far as your deliveries are concerned. I bought a washing machine expecting delivery within 2-5 days only to receive an email on day 7 that my order had been delayed and no communication or change in delivery ever since.
