Defective TV sold by Makro

Won't be shopping at Makro Woodmead again or any other Makro for that matter. Bought a brand new Samsung Smart TV over the Christmas period only to find out that it won't power on. Took it back and was advised to take it thru to Samsung for repairs. Samsung technician advises that it has an internal crack and therefore warranty is voided. I am now forced to use my insurance to get the TV repaired. For me this experience has been a nightmare considering I have yet to watch anything on the TV. Please guys learn from me and get the TV tested before leaving the shop as I believe the TV was damaged prior to the purchase. Suffice to say I won't be doing business with these company
