Deceptive Advertising

It saddens me to be writing this about one of SA's largest retailer. Here's my experience.<br> Yesterday 16th March 2016, I searched the internet for a Gazebo. on the Makro website is a CAMPMASTER 3m x 3m Gazebo for R999.00. After work I drove to the Woodmead store. When I arrived at the Outdoor/Camping the same item was marked at R1299.00. I spoke to the saleman on the floor and explained to him that this product was on the website for R999.00, He said to me that I will only pay what is on the website and then helped me to load the product onto the trolley. when I arrived at the till the teller scanned the barcode which reflect the R1299.00 price as per the floor. I opened the website on my phone to show my dispute, The teller then called the supervisor. the supervisor called the same salesperson that helped me at the department who then said to me that the product advertised was the tent in the photo. so I said to him the advert is incorrect and I want what is advertised. He called the manager of the department i.e. Outdoor/Camping who said to me that I am reading the advert incorrectly, gave me his card as said I cannot help you sir.
